TIM BROOKES
Tim Brookes has spent seventeen years carving letters in wood mostly letters from writing systems the world is at risk of losing.
In this talk, Tim will speak about his practice, how it began, how it has evolved, and what seventeen years of working with wood and language has taught him about craft, patience, and why certain forms of knowledge are worth preserving.

The Foundry is open and the doors are open. We have a messy table set up and some paper, inks, pastels and art materials. The sketchbook table is open all day bring your own materials and make a mess.
Come in, make something, stay as long as you like.
